By breathing beyond the bullshit of everyday life, Inspire Breathwork helps you to clear the clutter of your mind, and connect more deeply with yourself. 
 
Led by breath expert and author Leo Daniel, these sessions are a fusion of many breathing methods, designed to relax your body, calm your mind, and create a gorgeous experience to find your greatness within.

COMBINE SAUNA TO RESTORE 

The beautiful Heat of a hot-stone sauna is an incredibly rejuvenating experience. 
 
It's wonderful to help you relax, sleep better and even improve cardio-vascular health.  
 
In fact, research shows that a 20-minute sauna is as beneficial for you as going for an hours run - except you can just sit there and have the craic with your fellow sauna-users.  

REJUVENATE WITH A COLD PLUNGE 

Enliven your whole body and mind by immersing yourself in a cold plunge.  
 
At the Secret Garden Sauna, you've the choice of a variety of plunges to experience. From the gently-chilled, to the ice-cold, you're sure to find a temperature right for you, and feel alive from head to toe!  
 
If that's not enough to convince you, research shows cold plunging is great for: 
decreasing inflammation 
improving mood 
balancing hormones 
improving symptoms of depression, anxiety and stress 
helping you create a new outlook on life, like losing weight, giving up smoking or even harder drugs

BREATHE - COLD PLUNGE - SAUNA 

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE 

Preparation instructions for a safe and serene session 
A guided breathwork session, with gradually increasing intensities.  
The sessions last 60 minutes in total 
A rejuvenating session at the Secret Garden Sauna afterwards, inducing deeper relaxation, connection and wellbeing. 
 
The SGS is booked for one hour. It is unsupervised. You use the facilities at your own risk and guidance. Adults >18 years only. 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BRING 

An open mindset 
A yoga mat, warm clothes and a blanket if you want to be really comfy 
Swimwear, sliders, and two towels for the Sauna and Cold Plunge. One towel for your session, and a second for drying-off at the end. 

BREATHWORK FAQs 

INSPIRE Breathwork sessions last for approximately 60 minutes. It begins with some introductory guidelines and guidance, followed by a 30-40 minute breathwork session listening to powerful, evocative music. 
 
Deep fast breathing, while being bathed in the sound of carefully chosen music, enables you to quiet the thinking mind and access your amazing inner intelligence. 
 
At the end of the session, there will be time for some of the participants to share their Breathwork experience with the group. The Experience length is 60-minutes in total. 
If you are a first-time participant, you are required to read a PDF file entitled ‘Preparing for EMPOWER Breathwork’. It will be sent to you after you sign up. 
 
Set fifteen minutes in advance of your session to prepare successfully. 
 
You will need to set up your space. 
 
Make sure you will not be disturbed during the session, so turn off your phone. 
 
It is ideal to do breathwork when your stomach is not too full. It is suggested to not eat anything at least 60 minutes before your session if possible, or, if you do, to just eat something very light. 
Yes, Breathwork results in certain specific physiological changes in the body and also can result in intense physical and emotional release. Therefore, for safety purposes, we do not allow persons with the following conditions to participate in a breathwork session: 
 
1. Pregnancy 
2. Epilepsy 
3. Asthma (*must have medication with you just in case) 
4. High Blood Pressure that is not controlled with medication. 
5. Cardiovascular disease and/or irregularities including prior heart attack. 
6. Use of prescription blood thinning medications. 
7. Strokes, seizures, TIAs or other brain/neurological condition or disease. 
8. History of aneurysms in immediate family. 
9. Prior diagnosis by a health professional of bipolar disorder or schizophrenia. 
10. If you have a current diagnosis by a healthcare professional of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder 
(PTSD), we recommend you check with your healthcare professional before participating. 
11. Hospitalization for any psychiatric condition or emotional crisis. 
12. Any other medical or physical conditions which would impair or affect ability to engage in any activities that involve intense physical and/or emotional release.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Confidentiality is important in these sessions so that all participants feel safe to share their experiences and be fully self-expressed during their breathing sessions. In order to be allowed to participate in one of our workshops, you must agree to not discuss any other participant’s experience or anything that another person shares in a way in which that participant can in any way be identified and also to not audio or video tape any portion of the session.
